Retrieve only new documents (faster)
This option retrieves only documents for which retrieval has not been previously attempted. This type of document is represented in the Retrieval View by theicon. Usually this option is used to continue retrieval from an earlier retrieval session that was stopped before completion. It can also be used to retrieve new WWW URLs you have added to the Retrieval View or files you have dragged and dropped from Internet Explorer.
By default, this option will not attempt retrieval on documents that previously were not retrieved due to errors. Check the Retry documents that previously had errors option if you want WebCD Packager to re-attempt retrieving any documents represented in the Retrieval View by the
icon.
Note Re-retrieval will not be attempted on redirected URLs even though, depending upon where the URL is redirected to, it may or may not have been retrieved. See HTTP Redirection for more information.
Retrieve new documents and replace out-of-date documents.
This option retrieves any new documents (such as new WWW URLs you have added to the Retrieval View or files you have dragged and dropped from Internet Explorer), and replaces out-of-date documents. To determine if a document is out-of-date, WebCD Packager compares the date of the retrieved file with the date on the actual file (either on the Web server or locally, if the file was dragged from Windows Explorer) to determine if replacement is required. If the dates are identical, no action is taken; if they are different, the file is re-retrieved. This option also re-attempts retrieval on documents that previously had errors.
